For those of us who have been hurt in the realms of intimacy and pleasure…robbed of bodily autonomy, the right to choose, pleasure, self-worth, made to be quiet, silenced and manipulated.

For those who have tried more traditional therapies and know there is something left to be desired…

For those who know the healing lies in the body, in the place of the wound.

For those who know the issues live in the tissues; buried under skin, in seemingly unbreakable habits and patterns that despite all our processing, never go away.

For those who know there is more pleasure to be had, but unsure how to access it.

Hiss & Sting is my offering to you…

A radically brave space to:

• Free up parts of yourself to exist fully, and authentically.

• Connect in an intimate space with fellow survivors to be seen and see.

• Uncover, reclaim, and embody your erotic self

• Honor & learn to express your boundaries

• Rest in the resource of pleasure

Perhaps you know you are deserving of more pleasure, but things like triggers, boundaries (or lack thereof), unwanted fantasies or desires, disgust, numbness, or pain all get in the way. For very legitimate reasons, maybe your relationship with self-trust and intuition has been shattered…

This is space to be with and care for those parts in tender and tangibly loving ways.

Through embodied practices, group work, and hands-on tools, we will dive deep into our most vulnerable, and shameful parts, while learning to attune to and resource with pleasure.

While powerful in its own way, the 1:1 dynamic so often mirrors the trauma around intimacy many survivors know so well, and so leaning into group space gives us a chance to find new levels of safety & vulnerability.

This is an in-person series in New Orleans with 6 spots total.

We will be utilizing the practices and tools of Somatic Sex Education, Sexological Bodywork, the Wheel of Consent, Parts Work, Integrative Pelvic Care & Re-evaluation Counseling, among other adapted creative practices such as writing, dance and drawing.

We will meet for 4 months, 3 times a month.

Mondays evenings 6:30-8:30pm in a private home studio in the Bayou St John.
